[engine_work] My 106 Xsi

hi thought id start a thread of my 106 xsi baisically it started life as a 1.4 then a 1.6 16v then a 1.6 8v for some reason anyway i bought it as a 8v but it needs the wiring done was a bargain £300 no rust fully pollybushed group n mounts rallye steelies lowered on spax springs and shocks and that was about it.

 

so i got it with the plans of putting bike carbs so i have managed to collect a few bit over time i will put some pics up

 

Parts so far

 

ph4 newman cam

 

baker bushes vernier

 

ap racing 4 pots (for free i will add)

 

compomotive th's

 

morettes

 

2x sparco fiberglass bucketseats

 

r6 carbs

 

ax gti head (for porting and polishing)

 

shenpar inlet

 

anyway i will let the pics do the rest of the talking....

Cant see the picts as photobucket is blocked at my work but would this be a red xsi with the reg no. ending DOL and came from the Edinburgh area?

 

 

if so it used to be mine! loved that car. :lol:
