Getting A More Positive Gear Change

I'm just not able to get used to the gear change on my 205, it's so vague it's not even funny and doesn't inspire confidence... I don't have problems changing gear but i'm used to the box out of my impreza which has a very positive button like change between gears except between 4th and 5th.

 

Is there anything I can do to firm up and shorten the gear throw, i'm thinking bushes and maybe a quick shift kit... if so what do I need to buy?

or for just beter change the top hat bushes in the linkage that bolts on to subframe, about £1 from pug
