Does anyone know (im sure you all do) if you can get a 5 recess switch cover?

Im guessing there is another model out there with 5 switches, as when you remove the cover, there are 5 holes for 2 additional switches?

You can get 5-hole panels, they're about £10-12 new.

I'm not sure about any models having them as standard, but the extra switches were used for some of the optional extras - things like air conditioning, heated seats, front fog lights, etc depending on the model.

Marvellous.

Seem's fairly resonable too considering Peugeot's prices.

The phase 1 106 or 205 CTI has matching switch blanks too. A 405 has a front fog switch that matches too

All 205 sold in Hong Kong came with air conditioning, so there is one switch for a/c and one just a blank dummy. I bought a front fog light switch (green one) from dealer, rewired the system and changed from driving light to fog light.

The 5-hole panel you can get from Peugeot.

Black (phase 2) is part number 8236 E7 = £12.82

Grey (phase 1.5) is part number 8236 91 = £12.02

The switches you can get from a scrappy, or are about £15 new.

I had the front fog switch wired up on one of my 205's which had th Fibresports Corsica kit on the front with, with fogs and driving lamps, rather like a 309

Just a thought but, do the buttons/switches from a 106 fit? Was in a friends Gti the other day and noticed that they are very similar if not, identical. I don't see many 205s in scrap yards anymore so i'm just curious if I can pinch them from a 106..

^_^ If the switch blanks fit then so do the buttons, though the 106 had less of them and they didn't have foglights on a seperate switch
