Miss Fire Occasional Annoying, Redex ? Whats Wrong

Righty,

 

My car has developed a strange, what seems like missfire under high load demands at low speed. The car sometimes, stutters a bit, then finds atself again, seems to be something to do with acceleration enrichment as it oly does it under accelerating, normally under a high load demand.

 

I recently put some redex into my tank with the hope of cleaning the injectors etc etc, could this be the reason for the miss fire, maybe i put too much in.

 

The problem (i think) is fuel related but cannot be sure.

 

Any opinions welcome,needed !!

Possibly, just fill the tank up and see how it goes, but these symptoms generally point towards ignition related problems such as a failing coil or ignition amp if at high rpm. Could be fuel related, check to see how hot your tachy relay gets after a drive, fuel pump sound noisy, could be failing?
