Turbo Conversion, Where Do These Pipes Go?

Recommended Posts

306-turbo-tom

well my engine is all done now just need to know where abouts a few pipes go.

1. the pipe from the actuator, where does that go

2. there are 2 nippels on the inlet manifol, the ones on the side, one big one and one small one, i know the big 1 goes to the brake servo, does the little one go to the dump valve.

the engine came from a peugeot 605

1. This comes from the boost solinoid, which then conenects to a boost source, usualy located between the turbo and the throttle body, on one of the boost pipes. I think the Xantia i got my engine out of had the take-off located on a moulded plastic pipe that went between the IC and the TB, next to the ICV. (Although i made-up a steped adaptor to use the dump-valve take off, as mine didnt have one).

2. Yes and yes. Although i used the smaller one to run my boost gauge as i'm not running a DV.

Hope this helps. Marc.
