Xu10 Sump Onto 1.9 Mi16

Isn't the XU10 sump lip the same thickness as XU9J4 sump plus spacer?

Jer, has it got the aircon pulley holes on the side?

Two bolts by the crank pulley end are shorter iirc, there are threads on here about it where I have mentioned how I did mine (retaining XU9 spacer with extended pickup) and also philfingers did a thread with photos etc

the bolts are shown as being the same length for the alloy and steel sumps on the ZX 16v engine.

 

Oil temp sender screws into the front of the sump on these.

U need a late 1.9 oil temp sensor else the gauge will read miles off if you retain the one in it already (although lots of XU10 lesser cars wouldnt have had one anyway), again its in one of the threads I mentioned above

Sump I've got hasn't got the hole drilled through for the oil temp sender, gonna have to sort that and fit my mi one.
