S13Nick 0 Posted August 5, 2008 thats exctly what i wanted to see cheers, how wide are they?
welshpug 1,626 Posted August 5, 2008 6", exactly the same as the 1.9 wheels. if its a 1.9 setup you'll need spacers as they are ET28, they just about fit onto a 1.6 without rubbing.
S13Nick 0 Posted August 5, 2008 what do u mean et28 sorry lol a, i still gunna be ale to use gti-6 brakes?
Rippthrough 98 Posted August 5, 2008 what do u mean et28 sorry lol The wheel sits 10mm further into the arch than you want it to, so they need some ~10mm spacers to bring them back out a bit.
pug_ham 242 3 Cars Posted August 6, 2008 a, i still gunna be ale to use gti-6 brakes? Not if you get 14" ones & not sure about the 15"s. (they came in both 14" & 15"). Graham.
welshpug 1,626 Posted August 6, 2008 gti6 brakes will fit under the 15" ones, may even fit without spacers as I have seen a 405 (and trial fitted a set myself) some 283mm 406 brakes that have a lower disk offset behind a set and they only needed some dressing to the caliper to clear.
