Brakes Spongey

not long fitted r1 bike carbs on my 205,but now the brakes dont seem as good checked all conection are tight,servo is good??brakes where fine before i fitted the carbs. :P

The vacuum assistance given by the inlet manifold will have decreased because the standard inlet is a lot bigger than a carb inlet manifold. You could make a box that would give more vacuum assistance to the brake servo.

 

Other things to do are bleed the brakes and fit braided hoses really firms things up :P
