How Easy Is It To Change A Diff Ma Box?

Recommended Posts

weejimmy

basicly i got hold of a recond gearbox from a quicksilver but now the diff is gone. (this wasent touched)

well i think it has.

when you put it in gear and drive it just sits there as if the clutch is still down.

its not the clutch.

so how easy / hard is it to change the diff or what will it cost.

i know the be gearbox is easy enough but it looks to me as if you need to take the ma box to bits and all the gears out 1st.

i tryed a search but no luck

ta folks

From what I've been told it's a wanker to get apart, shallow headed torx bolts with threadlock on the plate that covers the diff.
