Gpa Cam Profile Suggestion For Hot 8valve

Recommended Posts

casnell

Just wondering if anyone has an idea of a suitable profile for the cam for a 1.9 8valve rally car running a megasquirt(fuel and ign), 10.2:1 (poss 10.8), K+N, after max torque really.

We can't get much info here, and shipping a cam over is expensive due to the weight.

Specifically if I could get the duration of the GpA max torque cam at 50thou that'd be great.

Cheers, Chris

You got a suitable profile Peter?

Will be quads, currently a 1.6 standard, but a 1.9 is going back in later in the year.

What quads will you be running? Custom adapter I assume.. If so where did you get it or did you knock it up yourself.. Any pics?

Thanks

Chris.

I run Piper grp a cam in the rally car and we see 196bhp on 45's regularly out of it, off the top me head its about 500thou lift and 308degs duration yet pulls like a train from 3000, with 150lbft of torque!
