Rear Beam, Suitable Replacements

I need a rear beam, mine is seized solid on the drivers side. I could strip it and rebuild but i have very little time and even less money. What beams can i use? I know about 309, is there anything else? Can i swap torsion bars to a standard 205 beam? Thanks

Cheapest way is to find a boggo model 205 in a scrappy, then swap your GTI torsion bars and ARB into it. The softly sprung base model rear beams seem to fare much better in the wear stakes than the stiffer GTI ones.
