reuben205 0 Posted May 4, 2008 hiya i have a faulty passenger electric window.the connector is hanging out of the door card.is there a method of testing the switch if its faulty e.g linking out pins on the switch block? i put a dodgy window switch to test and heard the motor whirl for a second then it stopped so wana try and see if i can get it working. thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

reuben205 0 Posted May 5, 2008 (edited) Switch your driver switch with one of thepassenger switches.If still not woring then refit the old switch back then swap the other side with the driver switch and try. Make sure you have a switch connected to all looms as they seem to pass through the switches to make a full circuit. If still faulty you will have to look further into it,test for power,link switch out to test motor etc.dont ask me tho how as i havent the need to yet. Sure someone on here knows tho.
