Yes they are 8 x 15 with 0 offset. Engine will be in this weekend and I will have complete pics as it is painted and looking really well. Also replaced all the glasses except front windshield with polycarbonate.

A quick update. Car has been driven on track. Not pushing it hard as yet, suspension to be set and engine management to be tuned. Feels good so far.

Final engine spec was

XU7J4P Block

XU9JA Crank and Rods

XU9J4 (Mi16) Pistons (machined to fit 8 valve rods)

406 2.0 head (Gti-6 shape)

Gti 6 cams

Gti 6 exhaust

Homemade TB's 44mm

Peugeot sport close ratio box 4.8 final drive

Car is a trackcar but has been converted to do a couple rallies here.

Finished weight is 806kg.

Pic of it in action. Came second in its group in its first outing.Races in a class called group B because it is underweight.Races against some very high powered machinery.

In its new livery for the big event this weekend. Rally Barbados

We have Procter, Meeke, Phil collins and lots of other big drivers here competing.

very nice! I think Rob Brook from Middlesex County Motor Club is over, not competing I dont think, he competed in a Cadbury's sponsored silver 205 a few years ago.
