Dimma Wheels

Recommended Posts

Coonper

I have just bought some dimma wheels with R888's.

The fronts are 8J wide, the rears are 9J.

What i want to know is, will they fit under standard arches, even though im lowered by about 40mm??

Damn! What will be required to get them to fit?

Stretched tyres maybe?

What about if i roll the arches??

All i need to know really is whether the plastic trim will clear them. I will just grind the wheel arch away and take out the liners.

Possibly.

Looks like i'll have to buy your arches, but even i will have problems cus they just bond over the originals...

There's always this method :) : Google Video

As for the T16/Dimma front wings, these are complete replacement wings - not to be confused with the rallye style arches, which bond to the original wings.

Oh yes, in that case i will definitely have yours off you! Will have to be at the end of the month though im afraid. Is that okay for you?

All i need then is the rear arches.

the wheels you are buy are mine and they will fit because when they were on my dimma it still had the standard arches behind the wide arches and they did not rub at all

Neil from Viper Motorsport (blast from the past!) had a 205 with a set of 4 fronts on, as did Kenan at one point. 9J is impossible in a standard body. Only other option is to get some narrower inner and outer rims for them. Your Dimma rear rims should sell pretty easy too, but new rims are not cheap from Compomotive

Mine arent original dimma wheels. They are revolution, but still, they are 15x9 and 15x8.

I cant find any wheel bolts to suit them!!

You can do anything with a bit of stretch! ;)

Alternatively buy some smaller outer rims? Talk to Image Wheels.
