What Is Needed To Get A Wheel With Et38 To Fit A 205?

Recommended Posts

Im looking at buying two magnesium wheels originally intended for a nissan. The spec is 100 x 4 but it also says in the add that they fit a saxo/106 and in the pic it does show there are some new bolt holes drilled, but my question is regarding et. What does it mean in terms of how it will fit the 205? It is et 38 by the way. In my head the wheel will not get near to mounting up as it will hit the shock obsorber first with the inside edge. Is this correct? Cheers Phill

a 19mm spacer for a 1.9 or 13mm for a 1.6, if the wheels are 6" wide.

Cheers welsh pug, the wheels are 7"wide so what needs to be added, its not an extra 1" is it so the spacer will be 33mm thick as its a 1.9 hub. Cheers Phill

if they're 7" wide add roughly 1/2" to the spacer required to keep them away from the arches, you can go a bit closer, but not a lot.
