Ricardo 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Please could you knowledgeable peeps help this uneducated newbie out? I have had my first 205 1.6 GTi for 2 months now and driven it everyday ....I love it! AND want to know more....and have more power....(my bike has around 170bhp) BUT What are these Mi16's; GTi6's; 2.0L T's; S16's etc...etc...donors? What age we talking? 1990s? What engine fits what? What power as standard? I must apologise but I can't find too much of this info about as everyone seems to know and understand this already, but I need explanations! danpug 1 Posted March 7, 2008 Mi16 (1.9)-160bhp-405 Mi16/Citroen Bx 16v Mi16/S16 (2.0)-155bhp-Later 405 mi16's/306 s16/Some ZX16v's GTi6 (2.0)-167bhp-306 gti6/Xsara VTS 2.0 turbo-150/155bhp (i think)-406 sri/some citroens All will drop into an xu 205, obviously there are other fitting issues though.
