Phil H 16 Posted February 16, 2008 My 307 brakes are good, but I am sure they could be better. Look at the pictures and you can see that the pads only really seem to bite the top and bottom of the disc...is this normal? The pads were recently fitted and cover more of the disc than the last pads which only covered the edge and had a mm or so overlap not touching the disc at all. disc wear photo Also, the piston in the calliper doesn't look like it can actually push against the back of the pad...again, was I supplied with wong pads, or is this the norm? piston position photo
Bonzai 2 Posted February 17, 2008 hard to say without seeing the pads out of the caliper. who fited the pads, where did they come from? they arent bank breakingly expensive so may be worth getting some fresh ones for peace of mind?
