Correct Gearbox For Trackdays!

hi there,

just need a bit of help i am going to be doin trackdays soon and have an s16 engine and want to no wot gearbox to run 1.6 1.9 or the 2 litre!

sorry yes forgot to say i will be driving to and from (maybe) trackdays aswell!

personally i would think of useing a 1.9 gti box with a 4.4 final drive.

i agree with above i have been through nearly every combination, 1.9 gear set with 3.7,4.1,4.4 and 4.8 final drive ratios in my sprint and hillclimb car and i will be using the 1.9 gearset in the next car i build with the mi16 (4.4) final drive its the best of both worlds

i find the mi16 box is quite a good compromise and saves taking gearboxes apart
