chownr 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Been trawling past posts to see what temp sensors people use for mappable systems and consensus seems use std Coolant Temp Sensor (Bosch 0280 130 026) or equivalent. Not found much on Air Temp sensors for intake air temp but looking at Bosch website it seems to suggest that you can use this same sensor - http://www.boschautoparts.co.uk/pcRetS1_6.asp?c=2&d=1 What are peoples experiences? Looking around it seems that Bosch 0280 130 039 is used as an alternative/preferred Air Temp Sensor. Not living near a bosch stockist but local motor factors do equivalent sensor for the first bosch sensor but not the latter one. Any thoughts anyone? cybernck 400 1 Cars Posted January 29, 2008 that looks like coolant temp sensor really and whilst it should be able to measure air temp, i think it won't be very responsive. all the air temp sensors i've seen (even original Peugeot one) look like this one. hope this helps.
