As title

Did a couple of different searches but as you can imagine there are a lot of threads with the words "speedline", "SMR", and "offset" lol

Thanks in advance

Cheers for the swift reply!

The offset for a 306 is 15-18 i understand, hence the slight scrubbage on speedhumps?!

Where did you hear that 15-18 nonsense? the cyclone alloys fitted to the GTI6 and other 306s are ET19 too. What's the offset of the original wheels on your 306? You shouldn't get any rubbing unless you're running baloons for tyres.

Cheers for the relies gents

I'll spare the person who told me 15-18 by not telling you their name

I'm pretty sure it's just the liner that is making a bit of a racket as you come down off a speedhump, just thought i'd check though.

Only rolling on 185/55/15's at the mo so really shouldn't be an issue if the offset is correct

does anyone know if et22 7x16 alloys would be ok for a 306 xsi? According to topgear website, the maximum is et22 but want to confirm it'll be ok

may be a tad close, the standard ET19 6" wide wheels, and the ET25 5.5" 1.6 wheels have the inner rim circa 169mm from the hub, you need to retain this dimension within a few mm so that the tyre doesn't rub on the inner arch and the strut/gearbox/arch liner.

a 7" wide ET22 rim will have the inner rim Circa 184mm from the hub face, so a spacer of around 10 to 15mm brining them down to ET12 to 7 is needed.

best bet is to just bolt them on and see, due to the width you may also have clearance issues with the outer arches.

PM Rippthrough for some custom spacers once you have decided what you require
