doubt it very much, the camshaft's base circle is quite a bit larger IIRC.

Matt at QEP woul be able to tell you for certain though, as well as selling you some I'm sure.

I had a feeling that would be the case. I only ask because i bought a new set for a Mi which i'll be selling soon and would of used them in the 6 if possible.

They say the XU10J4RS lifters can be used on XU9J4/XU10J4 over on the T16 forum.

Also catcams webside indicate the lifters have the same external diameter, but the piston-height inside may be a little different, still this is solid lifters.

The hydraulic ones will probably adjust automaticly anyway.

PART NR. DIAMETER	DIAMETER HEIGHT HEIGHT DIAMETER
		  (external) (internal) (external) (internal) (stud)
CC003 31.97 30.0 26.5 12.8 6.9
CC004 31.97 30.0 26.6 14.7 6.9

CC003 is for Mi16 and CC004 is for GTi6.

When that's said, I had to use 3.5mm thick shims when using the CC003 ones in my Mi16 head, so CC004's would probably have been a better choice.

XU10J4RS lifters weigh 49 grams instead of 62 grams.

Internal piston from RS is 12 mm diameter instead of 14 mm, which means less surface for leaks, which is of utmost importance.

All in all, they are built for higher rpm and lift, and cost the same.

We tried to find other lifters, such as those from the 206RC, but they are smaller, 30 mm instead of 32 mm. They are much lighter though, about 37 grams ...

Cheers
