Bloody Head Lamps!

Recommended Posts

ORB

One of my lamps is playing silly buggers.

I put them all back together the other day, one of them works fine and the nearside one does not.

I tried new bulbs and stuff, but no joy, all I get from it on main and dipped is a very weak glow from the bulb?

Whats you thinking boys?

Cheers

Bad earth! Check the block connections on the front panel behind affected lamp.

Screwed to the front panel, below and slightly inboard of the headlight, facing the engine should be a multi-male connector block of different earth wires. It may have a plastic boot covering it.

Remove the block and remake the terminations (both sides) - you'll be surprised what a difference it will make.
