1.9 Front Hub Nut Problem

Recommended Posts

sutol

I know it's been covered before but I am having trouble finding it. :)

My 32mm socket wont go near the front hub nut, the search turned up either 33 or 34mm but which is it as I'll have to buy a socket tomorow.

It's the one with the retaining clip.

Ta :D

It might depend is they're the original driveshafts or not. The originals are 35mm, which is an unusual size. Many non-oem replacements are 32 or 36mm.

prob best to get a 36mm as will undo it if its still the original 35 and if its a aftermarket shaft prob 36 so will undo it either way

I'll get a 35 then if it wont fit I'll take it back and swap it :)

By the way I could measure it first, is it 35 across the flats ??

Yes, what other way do you measure a nut?
