Acid / Ultrasonic Cleaning In Or Around Surrey?

Hi all, i want to get my block cleaned before my rebuild so ive searched, had a good look on google, ask and the yellow pages but cant come accross on anything. Does anyone know where i can get my block acid dipped / ultrasonicallly cleaned in or around surrey???.

 

Any help would be great .

Can't help on the surrey suggestions i'm afraid but you could do what i've done tonight

 

Mr Muscle + leave for 30 mins + Dishwasher on heavy pans setting = shiney

edit: I think I prefer the dishwasher option!

I second the dishwasher option, that's all an engine shop does, its just that their engine washer is a bit bigger!

i put everything in the dishwasher.

 

 

 

Also, for alloy stuff, that you want to sparkle, try lobbing the item in a bucket of caustic soda for a few mins (no more or it will desolve) then scrub with a 'soap filled pad'

I´ve tried it once with an enginemount and got heavy alloycorrosion.

What kind of tabs do you use?

Actually Mr Muscle got rid of the lion share of the baked on oil and general crap however i found it did leave a whiteish residue on most of it (wiped off easily though) could try experimenting with some other degreasers (bleach?) or one of those washing machine ball things full of traffic film remover

Im not suprised - it dissolves alloy!

 

Don't use it on anything precise!
