Mi16 Oil/breather Pipe Set Up

Recommended Posts

ChrisG

Right peeps, does anyone have a scan or link to a diagram of the 1.9 Mi16 oil and breather pipe setup?

I've a nasty feeling I could be a few pipes short of a system (or so I've been told, athankyou!) and want to check before I plonk my engine in.

Any help is mucho appreciated

Chris

you can bypass that pipe if you don't have one. Apparently it's only there to warm the engine up quicker using heat from the exhaust. Loads of people get rid of it to reduce the clutter in the engine bay.

Just block off the outlet on the back of the thermostat, and the same on the distribution block on the back of the engine (or swap it for the 205 block which has one less outlet).
