Engine Bay

Recommended Posts

driversdomainuk

Hi

Well its taken some time from an oily engine bay to what it is now...but here is a pic of my engine sitting in my clean engine bay.

If anyone remembers the mess it was before this is quite an improvement! :D

PS - look out for the new brake pipe setup, done as rears run thru the car.

Cheers

Hi

Yes I have now a rear brake bias fitted, running inside the car

If you look at pic:

You will be able to see the bias value. After fitting it (with Steve Bailey, guy with white Mk1 Escort) tried it out on the road and felt better - so hopefully we have done the job...need to go and when it is dry and really get used to it and play around with the adjustments.

cheers

Blimey the engine bay is a lot tidier than the inside.

Don't suppose you have a black n/s front wheel arch trim do you as some scrote tore mine off.

great engine bay, can i ask where you got the oil breather tank from ? (i'm assuming that is what the alloy box with the weber sticker is). AS currently i have 2 hoses from the plastic tank venting to atmosphere.
