Can Someone Do A Quick Check For Me Please?

Recommended Posts

Stu

Hi peeps, i just want to check the sort of resistance you guys have got on the CO pot on the airflow meter for a given CO at the exhaust, haynes says it should be between 1.5 and 2% CO at idle, so for peeps who know they are in this range, would it be possible for you to check the resistance between pins 1 and 4 on the AFM? mine was way out of spec when i checked it, and after turning the CO pot ive got it at 400ohms, the diagnostic book ive got says between 320 and 500 i think, id just be interested to see what you guys have got and if a given resistance equates to a CO reading. Obviously all cars will have components of varying conditions, but i assume if the CO is in the right range the car would run ok.
