Oil Pickup Assembly

Got the sump off, again! For the fitting of a drain plug haha :lol: and a oil temp sender so thought id take a look at this as well and put the original pistion spring back. Attached photo of how i had it. Wasn't really sure as it had been apart for so long I forgot the correct position of parts :wacko:

 

please correct me!

sump going back this weekend so any final thoughts on the order of the pickup assmebly would be much appreciated.

been to pug to look at a diagram but it doesnt show the little plunger thing (inbetween spring and piston in the photo) so still not really sure.

The few I've taken apart haven't had that plunger in iirc.

 

The piston fits into the main body in the order you have it shown in you picture.

thanks for reply, just about to put it back together now so its going back the same as before :) whichever end the plunger goes I can;t see it affecting the blow off pressure? anyway hopefully have it running again in a bit!
