Water Distribution Block / Thermostat Housing Mi16

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

is the temp sender the sensor vertically mounted into the top of the thermostat housing / distribution block?

as its loose inside (you can wiggle the central part) and sounds like its failed sealant wise, because when you squeeze a pipe it wheezes.

any help appreciated, or even better a picture!

1 = ECU temperature sensor

2 = Temp gauge sender

3 = Coolant warning light switch

2 & 3 may both screw into either hole iirc. Whichever one is the warning light switch should have the temperature rating stamped on one of the flats.
