ORB 227 1 Cars Posted October 19, 2007 Can anyone out there tell me where I can find a good switched live in the engine bay so that I can use it to run my R1 Fuel pump? Pugnut 9 1 Cars Posted October 19, 2007 have you left the ignition wiring in , tach relay etc are you still using the original distributor ? if you have from a safety point of view i would have tried to use the old fuel pump wiring . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pip470 61 Posted October 19, 2007 Will that pump be good enough to supply the carbs with enough fuel. Obviously they do ok on the bike but with the larger jet size and your car engine will be producing more tourque than the bike engine will it be able to keep the float bowls pretty full. tom_m 0 Posted October 21, 2007 i've piggy backed the switched live for my electric power steering off one of the green relays that live in the passeger side of the engine bay near the expansion tank. no idea what its for but hasn't seemed to cause any problems yet.
