The metal component inside the ports, what is it for, do I need it, what are the other take-offs for on the blank end of the R5Gtt intercooler (dont tell me they are mounting lugs  )?

Thanks, T

just got this info of the rtoc.

"its not a sensor but a thermostatic valve thing that opens and closes the thermo flap depending on temerature."

this flap is in the intercooler. thats meant to open if the airs to warm. (guessing it makes the route longer so the air cools for longer)
