309 Reart Beam In The Back Of A 205

Recommended Posts

Hi

got a 309 gti beam i am picking up on wednesday from anthony

question is will it fit in the back of a 205

i have one i use as a bit of van at the moment so i was thinking of using that

but if necessary i can get me hands on a van but its a bit of pain so using the 205 would be easier but i dont want to get there and it not fit

anyone done this

thanks

If you value your boot at all, I'd advise putting a sheet of wood or some serious padding under the hub/brake drum/brake disc where it sits in the boot.

I had a 1.9 beam in the back of my last 205 for ages and when I eventually removed it I had a big dent in the floor. Must have gone over a pot hole I guess the beam jumped slightly and banged the boot floor. Bloody london streets ^_^

Yeah, they fit no problem, although it's tightish will the disks/calipers still attached.

Indeed, you can fit three beams in the boot if you try ^_^
