Best Brake Setup?

whats the best and eaysiest brake conversion to apply to a 1.9 gti i am hopfully looking to fit a mi-6 so need some good stoppers.

yeah, use the "search". You will be amazed how much info shows up.

 

my favourite is Pug 307 HDI 2.0 brake setup. calipers+disks+pads. 283 mm. But bear in mind that you will need special big alloy wheels 15" or more. Not all will fit.

The brakes will bite hard in that situation.

standard calipers, ferodo ds2500 or mintex 1144 pads and see how you get on before buying any fancy discs

Again the 205 is a light car, (Just look at Kit car's etc and they run and race on solid front disc's) so a good condition std set up works very well and keeps the unsprung weight down, Yes the upgrade to the 307 HDI etc does stop slightly better but they are heavy and the pads almost double in cost as how many HDi owner's stick in DS2500's
