Richie-Van-GTi 81 2 Cars Posted June 27, 2007 I have a stage 2 cam from petert, lift at TDC should be 0.105 or 2.667mm as per his website, however also having a stroked engine I only have 2mm clearance from valve to piston top at TDC with the head torqued to stage 2 setting. Just wondering how much lift I should set it at on the vernier pulley to stay safe yet gain the maximum without getting the pistons pocketed. Ive just had the valve seats cut back to give me the 2mm. Clearance was actually 2.1mm and the valves havent been lapped yet but Im trying to stay on the safe side Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
