Rear Valance - How Do The Fog/reverse Lights Fit?

Recommended Posts

Dream Weaver

Swapped my cracked rar valance over today for another I got from the scrappys, but even though its identical to my old valance I can't get the reverse and fog light to stay put?

There is a hole in the valance and bumper and the stud from each light goes into that - there are then 2 tabs for each light, and the light slots onto these tabs, but nothing holds them in and they just fall out.

Anyone any ideas? Should there be something to hold the lights in?

Yes, there should be little metal pronged U clip things that pinch onto the tab to keep the lights

in place.

HTH mate

iirc there are 2 little clip things that pinch onto the valance and possible part of the light to hold it in place, they are small an d usually rusty so might have pinged off somewhere when taking them out

Well I never - the lights must've been superglued to the old valance as it defo had no clips on it - typical silly Peugeot fixings, :).

Better try and get some before the MOT end of this week, thanks all. :o
