A Simple Question, Clear Front Indicators

OK, probably been asked a miliion times...but i'm totally new to this....

 

My 87 CTI has a broken fornt indicator lens....

 

It seems the norm to go for the later clear lenses, but are they a straight swap (with orange bulbs), or are the connectors etc on the rear of the lenses different etc (the bulb holder)....stranger things happen...

I'd stick with the orange indicators on such a old classic, but each to there own. They are an easy swap and the orange glow comes from inside the indicator itself not an orange bulb.
