205 Factory Fitted Bodykit

Recommended Posts

A good friend of mine is interested in this car:

However he wants to know if the bodykit, mainly the sideskirts can be removed without damaging the car. For example are they bonded on or riveted.

Also if anyone knows any information about the actual bodykit itself that would be very useful.

Cheers

I would say the side skirts are stuck on, spoiler is bolted on so it will leave nice holes in the tailgate!

Is this a bodykit that would be fitted by Peugeot?

Is it a dealer fit option or something like that? Or could you get it straight from pug like that?

I know of a sorrento green car with that on in a barn if anyone wants the kit - he's thinking of breaking the car.

My first 205 came with those sideskirts on it, and they were just bonded on. The adhesive took some getting off though!

Thanks for the comments guys.

However this was as useful as slicks on a wet day;

P.S. He went to see the car but it was in awful condition.

These look like the zender skirts i had on my car too.

They were bonded and screwed, but my guess this wasn't done by a professional ;-)

we took the skirts off my dimma, and the cills were f**ked. granted this was the reason why the skirts were removed, but the damage to the cills were far worse than we had origionally thought.

so what im saying is you cant see what condition the cills are in until you remove them. chances are they aint good. personally id leave them on, or look for another gti without skirts.
