Gti Carbs Convertion - Can I Use A 1.4cj Distributor ?

Hi all,

 

I have made a carbs convertion on my 205 8V Motronic GTI and

thats why i have to change the ignition system to a jetronic one.

 

I have an ignition distributor from a Peugeot 205 cabriolet 1.4 CJ 60hp .

Boschnumber 0 237 009 612

 

Can i use that ?

it will get the car running for now but you wont be able to set the top end fueling correctly as the advance will be totally wrong. Thats assuming the distributor actually fits the engine.
