Advice For Removing Gluey Carpet Residue!

Recommended Posts

bales

Does anyone having tips for removing the gluey mess of carpet that had decided to stick itself to my inner rear wheel arches on the interior.

One side of the carpet came out fine and just peeled off without leaving a mess but the other bloody side kept tearing and leaving patches stuck to the metal. Anyone got any secret tips for this cos it is a bloomin nightmare to get off so far, tried some solvents, tried a hair drier and it still is stuck resolutely to the metal and takes about half an hour per bloody sq cm! to get off.

Cheers

Alex

(As you can tell I have got a bit annoyed with it!)

Plumbers freeze spray, freeze it, then scrap it off, it will DEINFETLY remove it, without scrappin away the carpet, it will jsut freeze it then it should just snap of, like chewing gum. =]
