8valve Rods,crank,pistons,liners In Mi16

As stated what are the downsides to using 1.9 8 valve crank, rods, pistons and liners in a low revving mi16 turbo application. What will the compresion be like?

I used 8v liners in the last mi16 I built for my 205, and its still going strong in my girlfriends car. Id go as far as saying I was better off with the 8v liners as they are turned steel not castiron.

Nick old Mi16 turbo used 8v pistons & rods with mi16 liners.

 

Made around 250bhp and took a lot of stick without problems.
