Assembling Gaz Coilovers

Recommended Posts

j-16

I'm attempting to assemble my new Gaz coilovers and top mounts but it seems I'm going to need to compress the springs by about 10mm to get the main nut started on the top of the shaft where it passes through the top mount.

Does this sound correct - i didn't think there would be any pretension on the spring?

The springs are 10"

Cheers,

James

Sounds about right with 10" springs, the adjuster on the coilovers is there to change the amount of preload anyway.
