Pressed And Floating Piston-pins

Hi friends,

 

I just rebuilding 2 turbo-engines (one RGX and one RGY). Both ones has got pressed pistons pins.

 

Now I want to make pistons by Wiseco for this engines (big bore )....

 

Could I change the pin-fitting to a floating one with clips?

Only if you get the rods bored out and have bronze bushes fitted to the little ends.

sorry to highjack the thread, i was just thinking about this today. i am rebuilding a turbo engine and was wondering if any of the other rods would fit that had floating little ends? MI16 perhaps?? or has it got different size big ends or is it even a floating little end? thanks
