Precise Location Of The Rear Brake Compensators On The 1.9

The Haynes manual says they are located near the rear wheel on both sides of the car. I've had a good look and I think some one has removed them form the car. Anyone able to supply a photo or a detailed description of precisely where I should find them?

Its quite obvious, just follow the line back to the petrol tank area.

yep, just done mine yesterday.

 

At the front of the tank.

Check that it didn't start life as a 1.6 GTi and has the compensator on the passenger side front chassis leg... seen quite a few "1.9 GTi's" that are like this because they were 1.6's originally.
