How To Read Faultcodes From S16

I tried the same method that I use on my Phase 1 405 mi16, but got no luck.

that's odd, as my 405 T16 with Magneti Marelli ECU uses exactly the same procedure as my Bosch Motronic 205 GTI .

Hm.. Maybe I wired it in wrong then.

Wire 480 goes from ECU, to diagnostic socket and then to the instrument cluster.

 

I wired up this wire with a bulb, and a switch to earth (before the lamp).

 

So thought earthing the circiut for 3 seconds would start the procedure.

Does anyone have the complete list of faultcodes and what they mean ?

You will get all the fault codes and what they mean if you were to buy a Draper fault code reader:)

 

A few lists do appear on the internet also.
