S16 Into 1.9 Gti, Rev Counter Problems?

hi, ive sorted out most of the 'little' problems with the 205 since the s16 went in but im still stuck on the rev counter, how do i get the flippin thing to work!? its a '90 1.9 gti if that makes any difference, any help much appreciated!

You need a rev counter from a car that has a digital signal for the rev counter fed from the ecu.
