Where is the tachymetric relay on a phase 1 309 GTi?

I have looked by the ECU and also by the fuse box.

It should be in a black box in the engine bay fixed to the battery tray.

Was on a 1987 309 SRi I used to have.

Graham.

Yes found it thanks. I had to take the battery out to see it. It was in a black plastic box under the battery. There was also a silver cigar case type thing in there, which I am assuming is for the rad fan.
