Relays?

on my 205 gti, i have 2 relays behind the coolant tank,

 

one is for the horn,

 

anyone know what the other is?

right ive found out what one is, it has wire 24 (i think) which is the horn

 

so anyone know what they other is?

no looking at the haynes electrical drawing 24 goes to horn

As far as I'm aware it's the dim-dip relay for the headlights. I only know because on my old Roland Garros it was bolted to the bulkhead and fell out, it melted all the wires in the dash back to the headlight

and indicator stalk. Not a good job to repair.

oh right, i was presuming the spare relay was for the windscreen washer pump??

 

if it isnt weres that one then?

one is horn the other is for the injection system IIRC. dim dip resistor is behind the l/h headlamp, looks identical to the low fan speed resistor thats nearby (usually dangling)

I dont think the washer uses a relay, just a switched live via the fuse board.
