littlemike 0 Posted September 15, 2006 The mi alternator has an extra groove on its wider drive pulley and an extra rib in the wider belt. My mi alternator died so I'm now using an 8v one, but you have to use an 8v belt at the same time (leaving one groove of the crank pulley belt-less).
