Does anyone have any idea where i can get a carbon bonnet from. i'm stumped.

 

If not, what else should i do with the original automatic one, i've thought about having it chromed?

i thought me and jonmurgie were the only ones with carbon bonnets , does anyone else have one? does anyone know how much spooxs are going to charge for a carbon one?

I've just got a fibre glass one with a bulge in the front to let the carbs breath. It cost £75 plus VAT and postage

there is a carbon bonnet on ebay going for £399

do a search under 205 gti

don't like the look of theat pro comp one above. It doesnt have a lip so too much air will get under it and it will prob flap like a flappy thing over 80mph. Here's mine before it was painted

 

And here fitted with the lip as per the OE bonnet

I think he means the bonnet from hodgy doesn't have the small piece between the 2 headlights. A standard 205 bonnet or automatic bonnet is not a straight line at the front. The one Hodgy has is straight and therefore it looks like a piece of the bonnet is missing.

with all due respect why do peaple not say where they got the bonnets from i know jon and sean got theirs from andy kirk

but the other peaple have stated i got mine for xx amount or i have a xx bonnet

it would be nice if peaple would say where the got them from

i think ive found out who made your carbon bonnets jon,sean. although they are abit more expensive now than when you bought them.

do you think there would be enough interest to drum up a group buy?

thats my old bonnet and funnily enough thats matts old car that i did most of the work on... is it still in one piece after his driving

All our panels are a direct replacement for the standard panel and are all reinforced as per the factory standard.

these ones arnt from spoox and they are cheaper too

although im not sure at the minute if they are a factory fit if my information is correct they can be made to factory fit but i think it will be about £80 more

Chromed, are u joking? carbon weave is well sexy no idea why you would wana loose that, just my oppinion tho..
