pugrallye 0 Posted September 4, 2006 (edited) longlife filters are designed for 5w 30 oils, so have finer filtration and designed for 20k mile changes, you can get fram filters from any motor factors (except motor parts direct who deall with crossland), but even purflux will have longlife filters to cope with new peugeots which will utilise flexible servcing Edited September 4, 2006 by pugrallye Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
saveloy 8 Posted September 4, 2006 FRAN oil filters are rubbish. This is well documented. It isn't uncommon to find that their bypass valves are plastic. Use a decent filter instead. Stick to Parflux or AC Delco, et al. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
